Illuminatecreativity

Creativity occurs when people generate ideas that solve problems innovatively and change the world amazingly.

Creativity is the ability to figure out the better ways to do things, but not for winning a small battle of ego. To move forward from a knowledge economy to a creative economy, keep recirculating imagination, refreshing knowledge, as interdisciplinary work is almost the order of the day in which contrasting ideas, views will surface.

A positive and humble attitude in the creative process to redefine, reinvent, and re-innovate one’s commitment to creativity is key.

Unlock imagination: Imagination describes those disparate and free associations contained within the mind to generate fresh ideas. It can also be seen as helping one expand the initial idea and building a set of hypotheses about how the product of the idea will look like. The more frictionless our passion can flow by following our gut, the higher the level at which we are engaged and stimulated to imagine. Without the imagination to "believe in the possible," innovation may not happen smoothly.

Refresh knowledge: Knowledge is fundamental for making imagination into reality; imagination lets us ponder where we could go; knowledge helps us understand how and what forces we are dealing with in our journey of innovation. Keep information flowing, let imagination sparkling. Imagine what can be accomplished by increasing knowledge and applying it to what one has imagined.

Practice critical thinking to filter information and build our own knowledge base. If needed, reset criteria to categorize information perhaps help us understand varying subjects contextually and nurture creativity constantly. Take an organic effort, allowing knowledge to  re-categorize, repurpose or recycle, to achieve a state of dynamic balance. – you expect to use knowledge to create more ideas, fresh perspectives, challenge common beliefs or conventional wisdom, etc, to solve problems innovatively.

Initiate interdisciplinary creative synthesis:
People have different learning styles, they also have different innovation styles to think and do things differently. They should allow time for taking different creative activities or opportunities to spur fresh ideas, generate unique insight, inventing, designing, innovating, for producing great outcomes.

People constantly engage in innovative thinking and creative synthesis, involving not only putting the bits and bytes together but blending them in such a way that the merging blocks of ideas generate great values for achieving “the art of the possible.”

Creativity can be defined as ‘having an idea or performing an action that the individual has not thought of or done before.” Creative intelligence can be developed by applying techniques of seeing things from a different perspective - think upside down, inside out, think small, think big, etc, for creative problem-solving. Creativity occurs when people generate ideas that solve problems innovatively and change the world amazingly.
