 Sound governance is to improve the management effectiveness and eliminate risks.

The purpose of corporate governance is to ensure that all business functions are on track and following the policies, strategy, plan, and architecture defined by executive management. 

High-mature governance involves maintaining composure and clear thinking, especially during crises, to ensure effective and ethical decision-making. It requires a combination of multifaceted value, technical skills, and political acumen to navigate complex situations.

Key aspects of high-mature governance:

Information Processing: The ability to process information quickly and thoroughly under stress is vital. Organizations can also develop a culture of proactively identifying and addressing problems.

Decision Making: Effective decision-making involves rational analysis, considering both costs and benefits of different approaches. Techniques like cost-benefit analysis can help in making more informed decisions, though factors like the value of humanity and well-being are hard to quantify.

Emotional Intelligence: Emotional intelligence is crucial for leaders, encompassing self-awareness, self-control, self-motivation, empathy, and social skills. These traits enable leaders to understand and manage their own emotions and those of others, fostering better communication, influence, and motivation.

Agility: Modern business management requires agility and a move away from rigid, incremental approaches. Engaging employees in governmental decisions and incorporating human interaction principles are essential for meeting new demands and ensuring responsiveness to the needs of people and organizations.
