Visit Sacramento: A Journey Through State Capital

The days in Sacramento offer myriad experiences for me to look into the state of California, with enriched history, snd cultural heritage.

In November, I had the opportunity to visit Sacramento, the capital of California. It's the deep autumn season, and the city was covered by the golden orange hues, with drizzling rain and falling leaves. Sacramento is a historical city with a blend of rich history, vibrant culture, and a burgeoning food scene. 

Explore the California State Capitol: After breakfast, I headed towards the California State Capitol, taking a tour of the elegant architecture building where California’s laws are made. I visited the different conference rooms for the state officers, hosting meetings and making government policies. 

The Capitol Museum offered insights into California's political history, and technology development. Although we don’t have a female governor yet, bit there are so many female officers and representatives working in different departments in the California state government. I am very proud of them as they put lots of efforts to make the state very competitive. 

California State Library & Sacramento Public Library: It was raining heavily, I walked through the city center of Sacramento, trying to find a cafe; then I saw a great architectural building, oh, I came over to the California State Library. It was just an excellent place for me to sit down and do some research in the state capital. In fact, this library is the state’s primary resource for information about California’s history and government. It houses vast archives and special collections, including rare books and documents. The staff there were all very friendly, showed me around and I could sit down comfortably, doing some study there.

Because the place I lived was very near the city's public library, I also visited the library in downtown Sacramento. There were plenty of seats there, people read books or newspapers, used computers or laptops. It was a quiet environment in which people can grow and explore the world.

Waterfront of Old Sacramento: In the morning of the second day, I walked through the twin bridge and strolled over to Old Sacramento. It was a vibrant historic district that conveys the spirit of the Gold Rush era. 

In November, I could capture a beautiful autumn scene, there were red maple trees spread around the neighborhood. I walked along the wooden sidewalks, explored the quaint shops, and felt the vibrant culture and historical cultural theme. 

The days in Sacramento offer myriad experiences for me to look into the state of California, with enriched history, and cultural heritage. From the California State Capitol to the charming streets of Old Sacramento, and from the serene beauty of Land Park to the vibrant shopping center in Midtown, Sacramento blends the winter and autumn colors smoothly, welcoming visitors to discover its unique charm. 

Whether you’re interested in the arts, history, culture, or just enjoying the California nature scene or weather, Sacramento provides an enriching and enjoyable day for visitors of different kinds.
