Innovativeinitiatives

When we have seen the reasoning in all meaningful thoughts and actions, we’ve got an example of what philosophy can impact on logical argumentation, innovation, talent development, and problem-solving.

The philosophy comes from a worldview that looks at the world as an interconnected, interdependent and integrated system; it is the principle to guide through business change and innovation.

Although observations and conclusions in the field of philosophy may be acceptable or unacceptable to different people of different social and ethnic backgrounds. From a business management perspective, philosophy intends to unify, harmonize, guide transformative change and move human society up to the next level of advancement.

Innovative problem-solving via philosophy lens: Many problems today are complex and interdependent with interactive pieces and “conflict” goals. Multi-dimension and complexity are two key factors in the intrigues of large problems. Philosophy is methodical and has deliberate processes for identifying questions, clarifying purpose, identifying faulty reasoning, and thinking outside the box. To truly break down silos, start with respect, understand, then be understood with empathy, apply philosophical wisdom to break down silo and negative mindset.

Philosophy is the foundation of science. By applying a philosophical lens to understand thorny issues and identify opportunities to initiate breakthrough innovation, business leaders and professionals can step outside their own box, discover truth, broaden perspectives of problems or chains of problems, dig into root causes of problems interdisciplinarily, in order to solve them holistically.

Leverage philosophical outlook to understand strategy: Vision is where you want to go; strategy is how you will get there. Whereas your strategy is the professional breakdown of your old philosophy and methodology to achieve something. As circumstances are changing rapidly, vision is the inspirational end state while strategies exist to define the body of work needed to achieve the objective. Philosophy comprises logic, ethics, metaphysics, ontology, and epistemology to broaden perspectives of strategy and set updated rules and principles to improve strategy management.

Philosophy is a Greek portmanteau of the love of wisdom. There are both old problems and emergent issues; short-term pressures and long-term concerns. There is no way to create a definitive prioritized list without more business context. Philosophical lens helps business leaders to diagnose true problems at the first step of strategy making; look at the problem domain holistically and apply the “simplicity and flexibility” principles, understand the “scope” of problems and deal with them systematically.

Potential development via philosophical lens:
Individuals need to step outside the box and challenge perception, push themselves to the limit, not only for growing themselves, unleashing their potential; but also for pursuing truth and wisdom from a philosophical lens. In fact, discovery of human potential opens a new window in our psyche to dormant attributes we didn’t know existed. We are encouraged to look for an experience of truth, the unfolding of wisdom by those who have gone beyond traditional thinking, deepening our philosophical understanding of ourselves, collaborations & competitions, human progression, etc.

Sometimes by philosophy, you dissolve the problems as you are more open to truth, abstract thoughts, see each other from broader angles, you can appreciate each others’ difference or tolerate one’s weakness, climb the information- knowledge - wisdom pyramid autonomously. In fact, science always needs philosophy. Human potential development is the science for reasoning, experimenting, evaluating how we could explore human beings physiologically, cognitively and sociologically.

When we have seen the reasoning in all meaningful thoughts and actions, we’ve got an example of what philosophy can impact on logical argumentation, innovation, talent development, and problem-solving. Business leaders and professionals with philosophical understanding can practice abstract thinking and communication to reach a point of agreement for setting up the right digital principles, understand and solve problems more holistically, harness innovation, and accelerate societal evolution effortlessly.
