Unsay or Not

In the shadows, truth should stay, and I just can't unsay.

Late at night, 

the words spill out,

Thoughts unguarded, 

filled with doubt.

In the silence, 

echoes play,

But I just can't unsay,

through mind chatting,

emotion flowing over...

I just can't unsay the things, 

I’ve been through,

Every test & trial, 

every conventional understanding,

 that’s broken down.

In the shadows, 

truth should stay,

And I just can't unsay.

Moments lost, 

I wish I’d known,

The weight of words,

that made influence;

Now the memories won’t fade away,

And I just can't unsay.

If I could turn back time, 

rewind the thread,

I’d discover patterns underneath, 

see through hidden rules;

But here we are, 

facing the gray,

And I just can't unsay.

So here’s my influence, 

continue to flow forward,

Learning lessons in this fray.

Though the past won’t fade away,

I just can't unsay.
