Canal

So here’s to the waters, that connect us all. To the stories we share, in the rise and fall.

Down by the water,

where the waves sway,
There’s a quiet water,

where the wind blows.
Reflections in the surface,

stories left untold,
history of the past in the ripples,

soft and bold.

Oh, canal, you flow so free,
Carrying our visions,

where we long to be.
Through the rhythm of the city,

under the skies of the starlit
You hold cultural residue,

you constantly evolve.

Boats drift along,

 like a painter’s brush,
Colors of the sunset,

in a golden hush.
Echoes of sound,

Vibrate  on the breeze,
Moments captured in time,

as we find our peace.

In the shadow of night,

under stars that gleam,
The water reflects outward ,

 like a mirror glow.
Every wave that passes,

every sigh and tear,
Brings us back to the realm,

reminds us why we're here.

So let’s walk hand in hand,

along your side,
With the tower  as our witness,

and the world as our guide.
You’re a river of memories,

a path to the spirit,
In your gentle embrace,

we find ourselves holistic.

So here’s to the waters,

that connect us all,
To the stories we share,

 in the rise and fall.
Oh, canal, cleanse and flow,
You’re the landscape of our planet,

forever clean and blue.
