Prioritization

When people’s everyday experience is one of frustration, failure, and defeat, they use up all their energy just dealing with the obstacles to success strewn in their path.

Prioritization is critical to force people to become more innovative for change and problem solving. The prioritization mind can focus on the most important tasks, spend time and energy on strategic thinking and result-driven activities, talent with such thinking is not easy to get distracted, or to be over-stressful. So they can keep energy flow upstream to become more productive and innovative.

Prioritization provides a framework for staying focused on the most important things: It is difficult to make the decisions in which order to do the changes and prioritize between changes. It is important to prioritize, make use of clear targets, and set priority to focus on things that matter. Continuously try to improve/develop/change everything in a prioritized order as long as it creates a more long-term. The real challenge is to understand your priorities, and know where and how you can and should improve, leverage available resources, focus on the most important things, handle sequence & consequence of initiatives, boost the energy and excitement to achieve the ultimate results.

Prioritization is about managing constraints: A simple prioritized daily to-do list can work wonders: For longer-term items, break them into pieces and slot in the pieces each day to ensure they get done. Today’s digital leaders and professionals should learn how to “ignore,” in order to focus on the most important things, to stay focused on top prioritized issues without getting distracted or inundated with overloaded information. So we could benefit from a structured approach to keep creative energy flow and develop innovation as strategic competency.

Prioritization improves time management skills: Prioritization forces us to become more active in creative activities and provide a focused approach to solve real business problems. People don't mind the stress if they feel in control of their work. Upon increasing paces of changes, the reality is that there are a lot of things that can go wrong and it is not always easy to identify what is important. There are three components of action - the ones that need immediate attention, the ones that have a well-thought-out action and long term vision, and the ones we need not worry about too much. Time management prioritizes actions. Prioritization is critical as the alternative is a land grab for time or resources

When people’s everyday experience is one of frustration, failure, and defeat, they use up all their energy just dealing with the obstacles to success strewn in their path. The dynamic prioritization all wrapped up in a smart and adaptive plan that turned out to be most critical to improve productivity and generate creative energy.
