Lanterns of Mid-Autumn Festival

Oh—Mid-Autumn, Lantern of Wisdom, carry me through the holiday spirit. Turn my fear into courage, turn my doubt into a light.

When the night turns quiet,

and the streets begin to glow,

a piece of moonlight spill up,

lucid and warm.

Another mid-autumn festival is coming,

Not just for sweet desserts,

not just for shining round,

But to carry cultural heritage,

remember what had happened,

that time slowly leaves unbound.

A full circle isn’t-

only what the sky can show—

It’s the reason we go beyond-

 what we already know.

Oh—Mid-Autumn,

Lantern of Wisdom,

bright and wise,

Teach myself to listen,

past the rush of restless lives.

Show me how to share the warmth,

how to keep up with mind,

Let the moon remind me:

growing means -

making progressive change,

day by day.

I’ve learned from the translucent moments—

how the moonlight softens the darkness,

How even tears can guide you toward -

a gentle, harmonious tone.

The brightest moon makes us ponder deeper,

the cultural root of mid-autumn festival,

So I plant my patience like seeds in every try.

True understanding is the first scripture,

love is what it means—

Every table holds a gateway,

where the future learns from “history.”

Oh—Mid-Autumn, Lantern of Wisdom,

bright and wise,

Teach my mind to -

listen past the rush of restless lives.

Show me how to share the warmth,

how to keep my ideas inspired ,

Let the moon remind me:

growing means change, day by day.

Tell me, moon, what you know—

about letting go and moving forward,

About seasonal change like -

the tides that keep on coming up,

keep on flow.

If I pursue wisdom,

can you guide me through with the lucid light?

If I feel the seasonal wind blow,

can I sense a better tomorrow.

Oh—Mid-Autumn, Lantern of Wisdom,

carry me through the holiday spirit.

Turn my fear into courage,

turn my doubt into a light.

Let's listen to great songs,

great stories, great insight.

And walk with moonlit passion inside;

learning wisdom as a truthful light/

Where we keep becoming, learning,

and becoming—once again—

Under the bright circle, together,

across the global landscape,

in the same sky.
