Business and the world becomes over-complex and hyperconnected, leadership effectiveness and qualities need to be assessed within the context of the organization, not as a stand-alone program. The leadership of the future must become aware of its own resources, being open to new ideas and input from others is a key skill for any leaders to achieve effective strategies and have a path of personal and professional improvement.

Inspirational: Change is like the four seasons, it is something that happens every so often and not always in one’s' control. Transformation, on the other hand, is a change to the fundamental business model itself. Digital transformation involves internalization of the new and conceptual model so that the newly required behaviors don't require the same kind of effort and vigilance. Transformation means doing something proactive that takes you from the past to the present to the future. Transformation is a natural process and rather effortless to maintain. Transformation is, "the company reinvented itself," hence, transformational leadership is inspirational and authentic. Transformational leaders perhaps propose ideas ahead of its time or intend to fill the gap when people’s mindsets lag behind the era in which they live in.
Intellectual stimulation: It is true that often time, individual and organizational transformation require a shift in thinking and decision making in order to produce improved results individually and corporately. Hence, digital leadership needs to be highly intelligent and highly influential. Coaching and mentoring are going to be increasingly important now, and that’s why expert power is perhaps more powerful than other types of powers in the age of digitalization. When you are on a higher plane of thinking, you are not confined by the wall, or limited by the hierarchy. While the shift in thinking and decision making may be novel to most of the individuals or to organizational leadership. Transformational leaders can see beyond conventional boundaries, present intellectual stimulation to encourage creativity. Too often people take the easy path, think and work at a superficial level rather than spend the time to understand what is going on underneath. Digital leadership is insightful. Insight is an understanding of cause and effect based on the identification of relationships and behaviors within a model, context, or scenario.
Game-changing: Digital transformation requires first shifting mindsets, and then, building new skills and reinforcing and embedding new practices/reflexes. Skills and situations have become more subtle, more multi-layered and, therefore, complex, what's needed every now and then to any individual, team, organization, society, and on up to the entire planet's population, is a little or a lot of energy to re-focus, kick-start or 'game-change.' Put simply, create something new out of old, update the outdated rules before the game starts, and reach the new horizon out of an old vision. Digital leaders today must develop and communicate a new vision and get others not only to see the vision but also to commit themselves to it. Transformational leaders not only make major changes in these areas but they also evoke fundamental changes in the basic political and cultural systems of the organization. Transformational leaders are, in essence, innovators, and at their very heart visionaries who also have the determination, dedication, passion, and motivation. Innovation comes with a foresight to envision a need that others overlook or ignore and a willingness to forge ahead to satisfy visions, in spite of a risk of failure.
There are transformational leaders who dare believe they can do what conventional wisdom says is either impossible or so improbable. The world will always need transformational leaders because it is only failing that you achieve experience and later success.
