InnerconnectivitySimplicity-Complexity

Progress is in simplicity.

Simplicity vs complexity is an age-old dilemma even in English Grammar! The simplicity and complexity are just opposite ends of the same spectrum. That compounds all "problems."

You need complexity to understand and appreciate the simplicity and vice versa. It's all about balance and perception.

In the core of simplicity lies complexity: More simple people perceive in any system, problem or living being is inherently more complex. When a business becomes overly complex and people get frustrated and annoyed by not being able to accomplish things easily, this drives the search for simpler concepts and methods. That means over-complexity in a business may be hiding simple and innovative ways to achieve things because the people involved just don't get the time to step back from the complexity. Therefore, it is always important to manage complexity systematically, keep the process simple, not simpler, step back from the old routine to do the things, and do not get intimidated by complexity, but manage it with the scientific discipline. Science is into simplifying the complexity. It decodes the unseen. Remove the layers of complexity to reach what is simple at the core.

Simplicity is an optimal level of complexity: Simplicity is an aspect of “appropriate” abstraction. Simplicity is a behavioral attitude to see things as and what and where they are and be content and cool as it is. The ability to simplify means to eliminate the unnecessary hassles so that the necessary can speak out. In the very rare case, we find people with a simple mind, simple thought and who gets on to simplifying everything being passionate for simplicity. Unnecessary complexity arises not from nothing. Humans create, though unintentionally in most cases their own problems. Therefore, they have to untie the knots they made themselves. Unseen is complex until it is known. Once known, it becomes simple. Simplicity is an optimal level of complexity. “If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.” - Albert Einstein.

Progress is in simplicity: Simplicity and complexity are states of mind. When pioneering and solving problems, initial solutions are often more complex than required, and then adoption and progress come with simplification. To look at things from various sides does not make anything complex...it is a process to simplify. Some get into it, some do not. Complication proceeds simplicity, not the other way around. Managers can make things simple when they bring people to understand them. Not every complexity is bad, all the intelligent beings are complex at a certain level, the point is how to eliminate the unnecessary complexity (complication) to make it elegant. Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius - and a lot of courage - to move in the opposite direction  -Einstein.

Life is a paradox. It is full of contradictions, getting simple answers out of that paradox could be the motive of some people. It's all about balance and perception. In the core of simplicity lies complexity. Simplicity is an aspect of “appropriate” abstraction. You need complexity to understand and appreciate the simplicity and vice versa. Innovation is progress, and progress is in simplicity.

This was truly a great find and read. I deem myself to be simple, yet complex & could never quite articulate it but live it accordingly daily. It was so satisfying to see it put into words. Truly genius
