Illuminateobligation

Innovators have an obligation to think differently, and turn ideas into actions, put creativity to work, craft innovation as a strategic capability, for achieving innovation excellence.

I
nnovation has more enriched context today than ever: it’s about how to transform novel ideas or new knowledge into business value. It’s the state of mind to think and do things from a new angle, it’s the business’s unique capabilities to gain a competitive advantage when businesses are confronted with fierce competition and business dynamics. Being innovative is a state of mind which disrupts legacy thinking or the old way to do things. An innovator has an obligation to solve problems alternatively; lead the world forward proactively.

An innovator has an obligation to think strategically and generate value impressively:
The majority of people are comfortable 'thinking' today versus “outside the box.” A strategic mind gains the understanding of the past and an understanding of the future so far as circumstances permit; a strategic mind has the ability to view the business ecosystem with all its dependencies and interconnections; it has more opportunities to come up with novel ideas, generated out of some real concern, purpose.

Innovation is similar to "the sum is larger than its parts." As you innovate, you might find helpful changes to your strategy. True innovation always spurs certain disruptions otherwise it is not innovation. In today’s“VUCA” environment, it is essential for developing a company strategy that encourages realistic innovations which will prove successful in the market, since they are objective to implement for more durability.

An innovator has an obligation to "be a natural creative thinker": True innovations come out from within, they are not only original but self-fulfilling. You can feel creative tension when you sense the freedom to be creative, the harmony not via compliance, but through purpose-discovery, idea-sharing, to generate more positive emotions and reducing unnecessary organizational pressures,

In order to connect wide dots for triggering creativity and catalyzing innovation, do not always follow conventional wisdom or preconceived opinions, become an independent thinker and fast learner, have the right dose of creative tension and healthy competition to harness innovation. continue updating knowledge and gaining fresh insight.

An innovator has an obligation to be authentic; be open to share and question, challenge existing concepts, and bring a new perspective, fresh ideas:
An innovator has the obligation to evoke emotion in the products he/she produces, because they embody the enthusiasm of fresh ideas. They challenge conventional wisdom, ask insightful questions, generate fresh ideas and create business value. They are able to overcome the shadows in people’s minds, build the culture of learning and innovation.

Innovators consciously use different kinds of thought processes that hold onto their natural connectivity while being prepared to connect the dots even in the opposite direction should they make sense. They should take the time to listen to the inner voice, and create some space for experimenting, innovating. Organizations should develop a healthy working environment to encourage idea sharing, enable cross-functional communication, and take a scientific approach to unpuzzle innovation serendipity.

No one may dare to claim he or she can see through the innovation, but each one of us can perceive, understand, experience innovation via our own unique lens: Innovation involves new ways of bringing together ideas and resources to create something novel. Innovators have an obligation to think differently, and turn ideas into actions, put creativity to work, craft innovation as a strategic capability, for achieving innovation excellence.
