Colleges and universities are value-added for all great cities to attract talented people to study and work. Education is the means to the end, the ultimate goal is to advance humanity.
I also walked through the spacious campus of the University of Chicago which was founded in 1890, located in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago. Strolling across the campus surrounded by trees, it’s like visiting the botanical gardens with different plants.
Sitting comfortably on the wooden chairs with artistic fluent design, I took a break and saw quite a few people reading, relaxing, and enjoying the surroundings. The university's campus architecture is primarily neo-Gothic. I visited the Smart Museum of Art and other museums. The exhibitions demonstrate enriched human history and a variety of art.
