South Asian Cuisine (Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi): South Asian cuisine refers to the culinary traditions and dishes of the countries and regions located in the Indian subcontinent, including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. Spice-driven flavors: South Asian cuisine is known for its extensive use of spices, creating complex and layered flavor profiles. Common spices include cumin, coriander, turmeric, chili peppers, cardamom, and many others. The main courses include rice, lentils, legumes, wheat (used in breads like naan and chapati), dairy products (such as yogurt and ghee), and a variety of fresh vegetables and fruits.
