Initiatives

It’s important to harness an in-depth understanding of critical issues, major concerns; and enforce management practices to harness innovation.

The organization, and the world as a whole become over-complex, uncertain, and ambiguous, the business dynamic allows the organization to morph as the business conditions and capacities for change to allow a better fit, eliminate redundancy and complication.

Planning, organizational structures & system refinement, and proactive participation are central to success in running an innovative organization.

It is amazing how you can work through arguments and filter through information when you relax your mind and share it: Information is growing rapidly, if the information is the right data, in a form you can understand, which allows you to do something useful, help you make accomplishment, then you need to know where to look for, how to filter it up. Be selective about the sources you are going to take information from; have your own collected information that you trust and understand. That will give you the confidence to make sound judgment, but always be flexible to understand the other's point of view. As information can be outdated sooner than what you think of. The point of learning is to gather the details around the subject under scrutiny and then and only then can you be selective.

Information Management is to connect people with the right information at the right time and location, to ensure that accurate information is accessible and shared within relevant business units, and to create fresh opportunities for organizational growth. With fingers on the pulse of information in forward-looking business today, organizations are able to break down silos, create an information-enrich environment in which knowledge-based insight can provide many ideas on how to engage employees, delight customers and innovative problem-solving.

It is amazing how much control we have in adapting to reality as it isn't always in our control: The everyday mundane reality is constantly constructed by our minds. Also, change becomes part of normality. Each person has a different level of consciousness or information, and reacts to environmental changes differently. So their reality based on personal perception is often subjective. In order to diagnose the root cause of issues, make sound judgment of people and things, it’s important to be open-minded, embrace others’ viewpoints. Perhaps you need to ask enough “WHY”s to get to the root for improving problem-solving effectiveness.

In a world where change is significantly speeding up, business leaders couldn’t predict the future with a certain degree of accuracy, ambiguity is a new reality. From a workforce management perspective, growth mindset and learning agility is the “must have” professional quality. Innovation Agility enables people to see and solve problems in flexible and adaptive ways; agility needs to be the philosophy to lead change and generate multidimensional values.

It takes an amazingly strong people to develop innovation by overcoming various obstacles along the way:
Innovation is risky; those that have failed call it a buzzword. In face of fierce competition and more selective customers; we all know in today's scenario where we have to work against all odds to boost energy for building differentiated business capabilities. Organizations have to keep innovating to sustain but with a lot of resistance, as they are not sure about the results. People invest in many failed initiatives because their thoughts did help the incubation but were not able to navigate the twists and turns during innovation implementation, resulting in a failed state

Organizations should be designed openly for anyone with ideas on how human organizations ought to be contrived in the face of challenges. Look at all the "we can't do that" or "it's how we do it here" in the organizations and start innovating in those areas. It is also critical to make risk management more practical and less emotional, and lessons learned from previous failure will increase the effectiveness of the next innovation agenda and therefore, probably increase your chances of meeting your objectives on your next attempt.

Running an innovative business is not just about crunching numbers, it’s important to harness an in-depth understanding of critical issues, major concerns; and enforce management practices. The business leaders' commitment to change must be clearly and completely communicated for engagement of all stakeholders in order to improve organizational information fluency, agility, innovation capacity and resilience.
