Mother rivers tide up & down; merge into, diverge from - the oceans, watch us over, affectionately; refresh the world, indefatigably, deserve our respect & love, absolutely.

Flow up to the mountains,

permeate to the ground;

dive into the valleys,

seed around the oasis;

spill into prairie;

gouge to the reservoir;

steam up to the sky,

frozen into the glacier,

thousands of Mother Rivers,

at different places,

flow across the world,

drive environment changes,

make an influence on -

the ecosystem,

significantly.


Wash off specks of dirt,

cleanse out polluted,

rinse out greases,

clean up trash,

Mother rivers purify -

the surrounding,

carefully.


Soak into the soil;

flow toward forests;

fill into fountains;

store into dams,

satisfy the thirsts;

Mother rivers nourish-

the world generously.


Once in a while,

Mother Rivers lost her tempers,

make turbulent waves,

overflow here & there,

cause damages,

overwhelmingly.

at other times,

she shrank her body,

dry up the land, unfortunately…
