Inquisitivelogic

It is the time for a tremendous awakening toward "inquisitiveness" with cross-disciplinary sharing and problem-solving.

As we live in the era with abundant knowledge and increasing pace of changes. The more we question, the more we know, we learn and thereafter we spread our learning, and solve problems effectively. Some questions seem paradoxical, some questions are circular, some questions are scientific, some questions are philosophical.

Questioning is both science and art; there is hidden logic underneath. An inquisitive problem-solver enjoys understanding complexity, initiating open dialogues, diagnosing the root cause of problems, being open to figure out better solutions.

Scientific logic of inquiry: Science is the methodical process of identifying reasons, methods, processes, concrete, provable outcomes logically. The effective questioning based on scientific logic, is usually tough and direct, applying critical thinking to question insightfully. The inquiries based on scientific logic helps to validate how thorough and deep your team's thinking is on a particular issue: it can also assess whether they consider various different perspectives in a structural way.

In essence, the scientific logic of questioning is about asking the right question at the right time to the right person for the right information, enforcing a healthy cycle of questioning-answering-questioning. The right initial questions get you started; while the answers to those questions often lead to other good questions. Broadly speaking, the science is inquisitiveness to know about our being, Perhaps no single individual is capable of truly understanding the bigger picture like our universe, and thus, scientific inquiry necessitates an approach which is interdisciplinary, both theoretical and practical, hard and soft, based on concrete evidence and reflective on the process itself.

Creative logic of inquiry:
All of us have some artistic/creative instinct, the unique perspectives in the way we look at the world, understand surroundings, and make influence. Intellectual curiosity nurtures creativity. Questioning is one of the most critical steps in generating novel ideas, attracting the diversity of thoughts and meaningful arguments. The essential to questioning stimulates the creative sides of our brains in order to discover alternative solutions.

Creative inquiry is based on open logic, such as “WHY NOT” or “What If,” ``How about”- the refusal to be bound by constraints and limitations and a pursuit of possibilities rather than impossibilities, to spur creativity. Creative people ask questions - usually no one else would think of, or initiate the open and bold questions to attract new concepts or fresh insight, spark imagination, connect the dots with personal experience and appreciation, to harness innovation.

Philosophical logic of inquiry:
Philosophy is abstract, also methodical and has deliberate processes for raising questions, reasoning, identifying faulty reasoning, and thinking outside the box. Philosophical logic of inquiries is holistic, big, examining basic concepts such as truth, existence, reality, causality, and freedom.

Philosophy provides us with broad principles of guiding our life journey or career path. Philosophers have asked questions which are still current and meaningful..."Who am I? Where have I come from? Sometimes, philosophical inquiries seek mysteries and paradoxes that there are no absolute answers, but collect relevant information and explore many possibilities.

It is the time for a tremendous awakening toward "inquisitiveness" with cross-disciplinary sharing and problem-solving. It’s the time to connect, to learn, to explore, and to experience our commonalities, and appreciate our uniqueness. Asking the right questions helps to clarify what we are trying to achieve. The question with strong logic is halfway to attaining the right answer, improving problem solving effectiveness and leadership wisdom.
