The Long Island is truly long, and spacious there are many different islands, not just one, with a diverse natural environment. Some are well-established, and some are under development.
Rather than just one island, quite a few islands are spreading around, you can visit them via the Long Island Rail Road, ferries, and numerous bridges and tunnels. I took the subway and ferry to travel around some parts of the island areas, visiting ocean front and enjoying a sunny day with many New Yorker global strangers on the way.
Natural sceneries: Long Island is known for its beaches. The island has numerous bays and harbors along its coasts, It also features wineries, especially in the North Fork region, historic sites like the Montauk Point Lighthouse, and some cultural attractions.
Culture: Long Island has a diverse culture, with great neighborhoods along the shorelines and working-class areas throughout the counties. But in some regions, there are not many people and living facilities around, I believe the islanders will keep developing those regions and make them as hot travel spots and cultural centers.
Potential: Long Island offers a mix of urban, suburban, and rural environments, with a rich history, diverse economy, and tourist attractions. It’s important to keep reinventing it and making it a significant part of New York State and the broader New York metropolitan area.
I spent a nice day on the island, walking a couple of miles, and wandering around. Local people had a party and I got some lunch treats. The Long Island is truly long, and spacious there are many different islands, not just one, with a diverse natural environment. Some are well established, and some are under development, we can make them more blossom and elegant, unleash their full potential.
