Insightfulperceivers

If people or the society get stuck in outdated perceptions, it causes stagnation or even backward movement.

People think differently and act differently. Even though everyone lives in actual reality, we experience actual reality through the filter of our personal realities. In fact, people’s perception reflects who they are and which lens they apply to make the judgment. If people’s perception is close to the actual reality, they are more objective in decision making. Great perceivers are in demand to broaden our perspective of crucial issues that need to be solved and deepen our understanding of cause-effect in conventional problem-solving. When the collective perception is closer to the perception of the most advanced mind, humans as a whole can accelerate the progress.

Inquisitive perceivers:
Problems are complex and the situation is difficult, to understand them thoroughly, contemporary professionals could gain more trust and respect by asking great questions. Asking the right questions helps to validate how thorough and deep of the understanding is on particular issues, in order to fix the root cause of problems. Great perceivers demonstrate great expert power, who not only ask the right question, but also are able to assist in providing answers, to bridge gaps between questions and answers.

From a collaborative problem-solving perspective, asking great questions is about stimulating collective thoughts and seeing things from different angles. Assess whether the team can consider various different perspectives. It's always about the questions, particularly to get your team to come up with their own answers to solve a problem or address issues broadly and deeply. By doing so, you've led them to easily buy-in on the direction to follow.

Paradoxical perceivers: At a silo, perhaps you only see or understand one side, believe it’s right, and then assume the other side must be wrong. The paradox is the result of two opposing truths existing side by side, which can be both right. It is like the two sides of the same coin, they are not necessarily opposite, but complementary, to make it a whole. The high mindset with paradox intelligence is better at balancing between orders and chaos, and gains objective perceptions of things and events in order to make sound judgment.

High professionals with paradoxical perceptions know how to deal with contradictions and embrace incompatible forces, rather than choose between them. It requires some paraconsistent analysis to understand multiple opinions and emotions in order to deal with varying situations objectively and handle conflicts effectively The more paradox-pairs such as creativity and process, candor and diplomacy will, in fact, improve decision effectiveness and enhance professional disciplines.

Insightful perceivers:
In the human context, information drives awareness, high quality information can trigger a sense of confidence, confirmation, validation, verification. If data can be disqualified, information could be confused, data based insight is crucial to remove the unconscious bias or silo thinking; it is the ability to see underneath the surface, and uncover the truth.

In fact, insight is an understanding of cause and effect based on identification of relationships and behaviors within a model, context, or scenario. Look for insights, set priority, make validation and predictability, bring transparency and create internal competition among new ideas, grasp opportunities to innovate and generate fresh knowledge continually.

Due to exponential growth of information and continuous disruptions, more often than not, those existing or emergent problems also become more complex than ever. If people or the society get stuck in outdated perceptions, it causes stagnation or even backward movement. Thus, either individually or collectively, perceptive intelligence is crucial to define the right problems and solve them effectively. Great perceivers are in demand to reach for gaining empathetic understanding and leading progressive changes.
