Initiatives

“Continuous Improvement” is the principle to achieve high quality and push the human world forward.

Change is the only constant with increasing paces; improvement cannot happen without change, and change should not happen without improvement. Change with improvement in mind is a proactive approach that allows for planning and support considerations to be made. Either individually or collectively, continuous improvement goes hand-in-hand with one of the universal principles: "to learn constantly so we continually improve."

Initiate self improvement practices: The digital era upon us is about people-centricity. Self improvement is about inspiring authenticity; growth mind, engagement, and innovation. Confident employees are more likely to be open, learn, grow and make continuous improvement. You sense yourself and that's all you need to let your thoughts and behavior work to keep you motivated. Self improvement starts with the individual’s attitude of being willing to change, learn and grow, determining what goals they want to achieve then; planning a way to get there; setting the right milestones/measurements that signal whether it is going in the right direction.

Initiate collective improvement: Improvement can only be there if people accept change, and make the most out of it. In the team or an organizational setting, to make collective improvement, inspire a culture of learning and knowledge sharing, develop personalized training programs to enforce a continuous cycle of employee improvements. When an organization cultivates a culture of learning and progress, people feel supported and confident, they will be developed and valued for reaching the next level of professional competency.

Initiate breakthrough improvement:
Business fundamentals are people, process, and technology. Making continuous improvement is the way organizations should improve themselves either individually or collaboratively. Compared to incremental improvement, transformative change often requires changing underlying beliefs, culture, or conventional wisdom, breaking down silos, continuously discovering “ "there is always a better way." To achieve the digital breakthrough, it’s important to build an innovative workforce which constantly de-politicizes working culture, dismantles bureaucracy, encourages creativity and risk-taking for reaching the next level of business growth.

Conventional traditions, outdated knowledge, change inertia, are like the time glue that keeps people still. “Continuous Improvement” is the principle to achieve high quality and push the human world forward. The best we can individually do is to start breaking chains of habitual thinking, perceiving, continue updating knowledge, skills, and capabilities, to drive the change we want to see, and take a journey of continuous improvement proactively.
