Carry on language art in the world: Language is the tool to communicate; communication can either unify or divide the world. Language provokes us to convey our thoughts, articulate our vision, and share our imagination. Language represents reality in its own sense so there are phenomenal differences in ideas and expressions. Essentially languages are constructed for memorizing past events and experiences so as to refine them in the present and envision the future.
We can't treat language just as a system of words and grammar. Language is more art than science because creative expression stimulates our imagination, visualizes abstract, and makes the world more colorful. There are forms of symbolic language, visual language, computing language, etc. Language is an art which has to be carried on to convey the thoughts, articulate and reimagine the world continually.
Carry on intellectual capital of the globe: Our co-shared world has a long history, abundant knowledge, and exponential growth of information. We are at the intersection of knowledge economy and creative economy; it's a holistic view that sees the world as interconnected, interdependent and integrated. Today’s global professionals from different regions, religions, and cultural differences need to be learning agile, keep their mind fresh and knowledge updated, carry on the intellectual capital of the globe, and refine their knowledge into more unified insight.
Not all westerners think alike; not all Easterners think alike. We can learn from similar-minded people as well as complemented-minded associates. There is a continuous strive for better knowledge in the world in which we live. To keep information relevant and knowledge updated, it’s always important to connect ideas but also people, coach people in organizing their personal knowledge mastery and collectively engaging with others for collaborative and creative problem-solving.
Science and philosophy are wrapping around with each other, refining human history both theoretically and practically. Philosophy is the foundation upon which science has been built and continues to put forth the questions which help move science onward and upward. Philosophy involves examining basic concepts such as truth, existence, reality, and freedom. Science inducts, deducts, focuses on rationality and logical problem-solving in the real world. They are not only compatible but in many ways, they need one another to continue to advance. We need to continue developing both of them by carrying on global insight and wisdom.
