Value-Led Influence

It's always important to define value-based principles and refine value to harmonize a hyperconnected and interactive global ecosystem.

The value of contemporary global societies is multilateral; value-based management needs to be driven by perspectives such as multidimensional collaborative value or collective advantage and multi-layer ROIs.

Value exchange, value communication, and value story are different aspects related to how value is perceived, communicated, and exchanged in economic and social interactions.

-Value Exchange: In economics, value exchange refers to the determination of prices for goods and services through supply and demand. Prices also affect the outputs of final products and determine who consumes them.

-Value Communication: Communication plays a crucial role in how choices are framed, influencing decisions. Framing effects demonstrate that the way information is presented can significantly alter a person's choice, even if the statistical probabilities remain the same.

-Value Story: Prospect theory suggests that the "value story" is constructed in two phases: highlight and evaluation. The highlight phase involves framing choices, while the evaluation phase involves a value function that assesses gains and losses relative to a reference point. People tend to be more risk-averse when things are going well (gains) and more risk-seeking when facing losses.

-Understanding Customer Needs: Marketers must understand who their target customers are, what they buy, and why. Customers purchase services or benefits that satisfy their needs.

-Influencing Purchase Decisions: Different people have different influences on the purchase decision, and these factors must be considered when crafting a marketing strategy.

-Building Emotional Connections: Building stronger emotional connections with customers can be achieved by focusing on what brands say about the users of their products.

-Signaling Value: Brands offer consumers a means of expressing themselves privately and publicly, signaling their success and value to others.

-Customer Value: Customer experience design involves understanding and "weaving" connections with customers by addressing their needs, values, and decision-making processes.

It's always important to define value-based principles, refine value to harmonize a hyperconnected and interactive global ecosystem in which people can unleash their potential free-mindedly, and the business can grow organically to achieve high-performance outcomes holistically.
