Test Automation Summit 2024

 Keep learning, growing, improving, and innovating. It’s the theme of the series of conferences I participated in recently.

In the first week of October, San Francisco started waking up earlier and earlier, welcoming visitors of all kinds coming to tour around or stopover. In the city center near Union Square, lots of tourists already lined up to wait for the cable carts. The trees nearby were wrapped by lightning strings, shimmering up and creating a holiday-like atmosphere.

Friday, I decided to participate in a professional conference called “Test Automation Summit” facilitated by the Testmind organization. 

Software testing is a process that helps identify defects in software applications. It is an important step in the software development life cycle. However, software testing can be challenging at different stages of software development. The conference was mainly a training session, focusing on current challenges and ideating the future of software testing to prepare a better QA workforce across the industry. The discussion topics include: 

• Software Test Best Practices, Benefits, and the Right Approach

• AI-Enabled Test Automation

• Test & Quality Assurance 

• Test Case to Identify Issues and Enhance User Experience

• Agile Test Mindsets & Tools

The tester’s mindset implies critical thinking, structural reasoning, and quality assurance. Although it was a small-scale presentation and training session, both presenters and the audience were professional to learn the updated industry knowledge and brainstorm the better ways to ensure reliability and high performance of information technology. Keep learning, growing, improving, and innovating. It’s the theme of the series of conferences I participated in recently.
