The Los Angeles metropolitan area was very active for diverse expositions and conferences across the industries in Spring season. Natural Products Expo West 2026, held at the Anaheim Convention Center was the North America's largest and most influential event for the natural and healthy products sector.
Although my registration process got delayed due to the gaps in communicating with different departments of the facilitator, I still walked through the expo and shared some thoughts on it.
Key Highlights and Trends of the Industry
Functional Beverages & Clean Energy: A major focus is on non-alcoholic and functional drinks, including healthy beverages, coffee alternatives, and clean, natural caffeine sources derived sustainably.
Nutrient-Dense Snacking: Expect a surge in on-the-go snacks emphasizing high protein, fiber, and clean, organic ingredients, often replacing traditional sweeteners with natural alternatives like organic coconut nectar.
Regenerative & Organic Focus: There is a continued expansion of products carrying Regenerative Organic claims, signaling a deeper commitment to soil health and environmental impact beyond standard organic practices.
Hormonal Health & Wellness: A significant trend is the rise of specialized products—supplements, foods, and skincare—specifically formulated to support hormonal balance and overall well-being.
Personal Care: Continued emphasis on products prioritizing transparency, efficacy, and sustainability, with growing attention to inclusivity across demographics.
In essence, the 2026 Expo West is positioned as the industry barometer, showcasing how innovation is driving the sector toward greater sustainability, functional health benefits, and ethical sourcing.
It is a large-scale event, connecting thousands of professionals—including manufacturers, retailers, sales & markers across the world, to discover emerging trends and forge strategic partnerships. The event is highlighted as the premier trade show for the natural, organic, and healthy products industry.
