Language of Leadership

And when the day grows heavy, let the language be the bridge; a big picture woven— truth in every stitch.

Speak with steady tone,

not thunder or rainstorms,
Name the north we follow,

let the compass guide through.
Words that stitch a story, thread through logic and skepticism ,
Call the room to action —

make the pathway clear, maybe cursive

Listen more than answering,

hold the questions and dig through the roots,
Silence turns to wisdom when the understanding grows.
Tone of trust, not just the words

cadence built on care,
Every phrase a mirror —

show we’re standing there.

This is the language of leadership,

authentic and true,
Soft enough to heal,

strong enough to move.
ponder the why,

show the how,

lift  who we truly are
Lead with language that opens,

sets the tones for long term influence.

Name the small successes, tend the failing seeds,
Turn mistakes to lessons,

plant the soil of deeds.
Use the verb of courage,

not just the claim of right,
Invite the room to wrestle,

bring the shadows to light.

Speak in questions that thought-provokative,

not questions that confine,
Frame the stakes with empathy,

trace the common value .
Clarify what you’ll represent,

admit what you don’t know,
Leadership is fluent when humility shows.

Use metaphor for vision,

leave the jargon behind,
Action born of clarity is what we’ll come to find.
Turn strategy to stories that people can share ,
Translate complex to simple — make it feel effortless .

This is the language of leadership: accurate , kind, and wise,
Bold enough to change, gentle enough to feel .
Name the truth,

hold the space, share the light of wisdom,

And when the day grows heavy,

let the language be the bridge,
A big picture woven— truth in every stitch.
For leaders who speak humanity,

hands and mind can heed,
Language of leadership —

the soil where futures breed.
