Initiatives

Art is always required to some degree for design, enchanting, but there is no way you will succeed in a complex “VUCA" environment without scientific reasoning and implementation.

The world becomes over-complex and uncertain, how to make sound judgment”? How can you know when you are operating in a box, and what steps can you take to get out of it? “Are your organizations disrupting or being disrupted?” These questions are not simple to address, the more you think about them, the more intriguing they become.

Different shareholders get involved in various business activities with different speed. How to identify fresh talent who are able to play significant roles in catalyzing change and exploring multiple pathways for unlocking business potentiality?

It’s important to remove or discourage negative mindset or attitudes, be insightful and shape the brighter future constructively: The good intention to progress is the prerequisite for running a high-influential organization or a society. If the team loses trust in leadership, the brilliance of the strategy doesn't matter, alignment and support will fail. People, Process and Technology in that order with the right people, you can get good results. Add good processes and the results get better. Add technology to automate and the results get even better. But you have to start with the right people at the beginning.

The organization is one of the drivers for the societies to change because the organization by its behavior changes the surrounding; it must evolve to stay compatible in reality, and drive progress change. This is most likely the area needing the greatest attention in management development. The team should be as autonomous as possible, appreciate that autonomy and alignment are not rivals but two faces of the same coin.

It’s crucial to fill out blind spots, desire insight to fill out blind spots insightfully
: Nowadays, business is the sum of pieces rather than a holistic whole, functional silos compete for resources, rather than work collaboratively to optimize business. Such silo mentalities will create numerous blind spots in talent, resources, process, capacity, and capability development. The traditional concept of diversity can not fill out the gaps caused by cognitive difference. It's important to build high-performance teams with the heterogeneous group setting, complementary skills, and distinctive capabilities in order to fill blind spots, clear business vision, and spur creativity.

We are what we think; we can raise the total cognitive threshold by understanding ourselves deeply at the mindset level. Learn how to be quick to listen, slow to speak, embrace diverse viewpoints and close a variety of gaps. By closing all those fatal blind spots, an organization can be well prepared to effectively and efficiently absorb and accept change in all its forms.

It’s imperative to open digital dialogs for enforcing communication and encouraging cross-functional collaboration: When there are noble, admirable, and inspiring shared goals, people become more credible and acceptable. and enforce cross-functional relationships and collaboration. Continuous dialog leads to continuous improvement and continuous journey of business transformation.

Business dialogues need to be continuous, iterative, and multi-channel because change occurs on a continuum. Dialogue is relevant when people can understand what is communicated and are able to translate it into action or expertise. It’s the leadership capacity to be non-judgmental; the capacity to appreciate and communicate with respect for other people's ways, and keep them informed of your expectations. It’s all about striking the right balance to communicate effectively and achieve the end goals effortlessly.

Businesses today are not just working within the industry, but also permeating across the business ecosystem. Art is always required to some degree for design, enchanting, but there is no way you will succeed in a complex “VUCA" environment without scientific reasoning and implementation.
