Initiatives

It's critical to unify people’s differences, enforce trust, transparency, respect, innovation.

As the business world becomes hyper-connected, over-complex and interdependent, the workforce today should continue to depoliticize working culture, dismantle bureaucracy, keep knowledge updated and ideas flow frictionlessly.

True global leaders and professionals can harmonize differences, qualify values, unify common beliefs, diversify fresh viewpoints, and unleash collective human potential collaboratively.

If you can tap into better understanding and work with the energy of resistance, you can accelerate purposeful change: Change is inevitable, and the only differences are the reasons and goals behind the change, the scope and depth/breadth of change. Change sometimes means uncertainty or out of control, so there is resistance to change. Two types of resistances of changes are expected; personal and structural, and both need to be addressed effectively.

It is wise to look for a "positive intent" behind a "resistor," opinions and feedback before making assumptions. If someone is "resisting" change, what's that about psychologically? It's a good idea to get clarity on what the "resistance" is all about; how to look closer to the reality of what's going on, connecting with people at both emotional and rational level and working out the best way to meet multiple needs within a change process. The key factor to the paradigm shift has been the endless self-exploration and self-renewal in intellectual, emotional, or spiritual dimensions that need to co-evolve together.

If you can explore growth opportunities in dealing with difficulty, uncertainty, risks, you are on the path of reinventing yourselves:
A problem often leads to opportunities because they challenge us to address something that is not working for us. Seeing something as a problem or an opportunity is definitely all about personal perception. It is especially important for transforming outdated thinking and old paradigms to create fresh insight. It’s critical to deal with uncertainty and fill opportunities gaps, accelerate growth and reach the next level of professional or organizational maturity.

Organizations have blurred territories and interdependent characteristics. Uncertainty could be an opportunity enabling us to foresee possibilities, explore growth opportunities. Besides identifying risks, spotting opportunities as well. There is possibly a different scenario in which identification of risks unearths an opportunity. The management needs to assess how much time organizations spend sorting and classifying risks versus exploring and evaluating opportunities.

If you are able to leverage collaboration tools to make formerly invisible patterns of social interaction more visible, you can become more conscious of spurring creativity:
Building and sustaining dynamics in a workforce are about collaboration with people at any level. Organizations have the mixed structure of formal hierarchy and informal connectivity. Collaboration happens in that space between people in relationships receptively and thoughtfully interacting with interest and caring for one another's needs to fuel ideas and encourage innovation.

To build an innovative workforce, people can voice opinions and share collective wisdom; build interconnected communication platforms, predict the future trend, capture collective insight, and generate & implement fresh ideas. Advanced analytics can help the organization collect invaluable feedback, analyze context and quickly draw an inference from unstructured data, convert information into actionable customer insight to catalyze customer-centric innovation.

There are unknown interactions and inner dynamics in business complexity. There are many reasons for changing resistances. It's critical to unify people’s differences, enforce trust, transparency, respect, innovation. Ensure the business ecosystem is able to communicate, negotiate, reciprocate, and cooperate to harness change, amplify collective human impact. and solve complex business problems holistically.
