Charisma from a Philosophical Aspect

Charisma has multifaceted meanings; philosophical inquiry encourages us to look beyond the surface and consider the potential benefits and drawbacks of charisma.

If a character decides who you are, and how you decide; then charisma conveys your uniqueness and personal style. Examining charisma through a philosophical lens can be quite fascinating.  Some argue that charisma is a performance, a carefully crafted persona that projects a certain image. Is there an authentic self behind the charismatic persona?
