Get Right

So here’s to the journey, the highs and the lows. With truth as my compass, I’ll follow where it goes.

Woke up this morning, 

feeling breeze touch my face;

pursuing vision high enough, 

try to understand and be understood...

Gotta find my footing, 

gotta clear my mind,

With every little step, 

I’ll leave the past behind.

Gonna get right, 

gonna find my way,

Shake off the shadows, 

step into the present moment;

With every insight I share, 

I’ll make influences;

Finding my unique path, 

one step at a time.

Life’s full of lessons, 

sometimes hard to face,

But I’m learning to-

embrace every twist and turn.

With the strength inside me, 

I’ll break the chain of-

conventional wisdom,

Turning all my struggles into-

lessons learned.

When the road gets tough, 

I won’t back down,

I’ll keep on moving, 

won’t let fear drown.

With my eyes on the horizon, 

I’m ready to try it up,

Turning wrongs into rights, 

I’ll make a better world.

So here’s to the journey, 

the highs and the lows,

With truth as my compass, 

I’ll follow where it goes.

Gonna get right, 

I’ll take my stand,

With inspiration in my spirit, 

I’ll reach for the new high.
