Professional Presentations & Fairs in Taipei

Professional exhibitions provide great resources for people to grow their professions or hobbies, enjoy social interactions, and live fulfilling lives.

Taipei is a large metropolitan area with dynamic populations as global tourists visit here frequently. That is why there are quite many different exhibitions taking place periodically. Besides smart city and Netzero transition exhibitions, I also went to a few other interesting exhibitions.

Last month, the Taipei International Book Fair was a great event that attracted tens of thousands of readers coming to visit. Unlike some other book exhibitions that focus on publishing industry professionals, this show was more consumer-centric, people of all ages came to select their favorite books as book retailers offer discounts to encourage the culture of reading.

Authors and researchers in Taiwan came to share their thoughts and opinions. So I met a few authors I was familiar with. Intellectuals here were open-minded and dedicated to advocating learning culture and engaging in developing more audiences. Such events made Taipei a modern city with a high social impact on changes and democracies.

The franchise business exhibition was an event that was held periodically to encourage people to run businesses and inspire entrepreneurial spirit. There were quite many local chain stores that went there to develop franchise stores and expand their businesses. A few managers went upstage to introduce their business models and management strategies. Staff in hospitality businesses presented their products or services or offered samples to prospective customers. One shop called Xianguo Drinks treated visitors with free ice creams, which was very sweet. People showed their talent and explored their potential partnership. Running a business is competitive and risky, such exhibitions educate new entrepreneurs for necessary preparation. The exhibition was educational and entertaining.

Another interesting exhibition I went to recently, was the Vegetarian Food and religious products exhibition. It was held on the weekend, so people came to select healthy food and had some fun. There were seminars educating people on how to pick healthy agricultural products, how to cure illnesses with healthy food etc. The religious organizations came to serve their vegetarian lunches and local snacks. They tasted fine.

A while ago, there was a career show that helped candidates find potential career opportunities mostly in the hospitality and service industries. Those types of events could support people in their career movement. However, not all industries participate in such events. Lots of emerging industries or R&D associations weren’t involved, so there was a limitation on their impact.

All those exhibitions were professionally organized, attracting diverse audiences to learn and participate, opening people's minds, and helping businesses find potential customers. A few exhibition centers located in the different districts of Taipei are all spacious and decorated professionally to provide great places for people coming to visit, growing their professions or hobbies, enjoy social interactions, have progressive careers, and live fulfilling lives.
