In the Nick of Time

No hesitation, no confusion—just come up,  work on the right things,  on the right  time.

Clock’s ticking, 

the road’s too long,

I was one step from turning back.

But I kept going — didn’t know I could —

and the light changed just as I crossed the track.

In the nick of time — 

not a second to spare,

the night was closing, 

but I was still there.

Not because I knew I’d make it through —

but because I understand working hard helps to -

become who we truly become.

You don’t always feel the edge when you’re on it —

one step more, 

and you’re overcoming the challenges.

But something in you says, not yet,

and you ponder around before you’re ready to take actions.

In the nick of time — 

not by plan, not by sign,

just by exploring, 

and the courage to cross the line.

No hesitation, no confusion—

just come up, 

work on the right things, 

on the right  time.

And if you made it —

you didn’t just survive.

You thrive.
