The Monthly “100 Creativity Ingredients” Book Tuning: Interdisciplinary Creativity II Feb. 2019

Developing creativity requires both self-awareness and internal motivation, divergent and convergent thought processes.

All humans are born with raw creativity ability. Creativity has many dimensions, with multi-faceted truth and myth, manifold knowledge and multidimensional insight. Creativity is the wings of our mind and the tempo of our heartbeat. Creativity is a constructive disruption, not so bad addiction, and a sensational phenomenon. The purpose of “100 Creativity Ingredients - Everyone’s Playbook to Unlock Creativity“ is to classify, scrutinize, articulate, and share insight about one hundred special creativity ingredients, to paint the picture with them, to add colors on them, to embed the music into them, and to make the story via them, in order to unleash our collective creativity potential.

                   Interdisciplinary Creativity

Divergent Thinking and Creativity? Creativity is an innate ability to create novel ideas, divergent thinking is a thought process to generate many ideas and explore many possible solutions. Creativity is both innate and a skill. Creativity is a response to a stimulus and that individuals will manifest different thought processes and behavioral responses to that stimulus depending on their individual cognition and experiences. Developing creativity requires both self-awareness and internal motivation, divergent and convergent thought processes.

Creativity and Authenticity Being authentic is the state of self-consciousness, self-discovery, and self-improvement. It seems everyone who considers authenticity has his or her own view of it. It is a construct formed in the mind and we know that the mind of every individual is different, the actual mental understanding and subsequent manifestations in action will be different for each individual. Does being authentic give you the courage to be creative? Or actually, creativity seems to make your life more authentic, in pursuit of “Who you are.” What are the intricate links between creativity and authenticity?

Creativity and Humility? All humans have a creative/artistic side while also have a curious/scientific side, bestowed with three basic instincts which are humility (egoless awareness and acceptance), curiosity (restlessness with the status quo), and creativity (urge to change or improve the status quo). Amazingly, these three basic instincts are intertwined. Humility energizes curiosity and curiosity ignites creativity.

Creativity and Sociology Sociology is the study of human interaction, usually within the context of organized groups, communities, or societies. Sociology brings much more depth to our knowledge with an interdisciplinary understanding of creativity, business, and even an entire human society. Because the key elements in creative activity are often socially based and developed, hence, sociology can contribute significantly to understanding and explaining human creativity often as a collective activity. Thinking sociologically requires imagination and insight, to identify and explain social mechanisms of creativity and innovativeness.

Creativity and Aura "Aura" is a circle or an outline of energy around us. Aura is the distinctive atmosphere or quality that seems to surround and be generated by a person. Creativity is an individual activity. It is, by nature, unique to each person. Aura plays an indispensable part in building up creative energy. It is where you generate the power to be creative. The world needs creative energy, and aura plays an important role in it. How can you increase flow in your aura and how to release creative energy?
