Innateobligation

People have an obligation to contribute more, create value for their organization constantly.

Compared to the traditional organization as the mechanical system which is easy to turn outdated and thus, get stagnated. Organizations today are like the organic living system which keeps evolving to adapt to business dynamics.

Riding ahead of the curves for business transformation takes vision, strategy, courage, methodology, principles, and practices. To overcome stagnation, business leaders and professionals today have the obligation to think ahead, act progressively, and develop well-rounded changeability to increase organizational agility and maturity.

Obligation of an individual or organization to account for its activities, accept responsibility to harness transformation: Dynamic and changing organizations cannot operate with unchanging people. Those who cannot learn change will get left behind. It’s the leadership’s obligation to steer the organization in the right direction. Accountability is to be wise enough as a leader to change in time before the problem becomes overwhelming. It’s the business professionals’ obligation to be conscious of surroundings, be aware of the learning curve, and hold themselves accountable to what they promise to accomplish.

It will be necessary to maintain a constant effort and vigilance to be confident that one is behaving properly and by the updated rules and next practices. Even though people have different intentions, talents, personalities, they have the obligation to accept responsibilities, they need to work together as a team, group, or company in order to create the desired benefits.

Obligations of moving from subjective perception to objective perception to creative perception: Organizations across the vertical sectors are on the journey of business transformation. Often, they need to change underlying values, cultures, and common beliefs, as change increases its paces. Organizational leaders and professionals have obligations to think critically, break the outdated mindsets, break down silos, correct the misinterpretation of what they see, hear and experience, shift from subjective to objective perception for improving judgmental intelligence

Perception is our mental logic to visualize and interpret the world. The upside of that is one’s perception is not static, can be altered by variables and tests introduced to their reality. So business professionals have obligations to update their knowledge, understand complex problems in a more objective way in order to become part of solutions. Objectivity is an art we try to develop in our personality; see things in progressive lens and reimagine what it could be in order to shape a better human society.

Obligation to love nature; with the responsibility to ensure that the solution is eco-friendly and sustainable:
Business value is multifaceted nowadays, organizations not only have the obligation to improve stakeholders’ satisfaction, but also have social responsibility to build a better society. Corporate leaders need to become advocates for corporate-wide environmental sustainability initiatives and transcribe a path that converts outside concerns into employee engagement, reduces energy use & waste & emissions in operations, manages corporate reputation for sustainability, responds to regulatory constraints or opportunities proactively.

For handling complex situations, it’s important for business leaders to continue pondering: What is the problem? Is that the real problem? Or the symptom of another large scale problem? What are possible solutions? Do they cause any side effects? A logical problem-diagnose scenario is to keep peeling back the layers to discover the root cause by asking “WHYs,” and “WHATs” which help people get curious about the real problems and analyze diverse situations systematically. Consider how awesome the synergy of a highly innovative organization could create, to make people achieve more, customers delightful, nature harmonized, and unleash the full potential of the business.

The business will be more successful when they realize that one of their greatest strengths will be their change capability. It is time to change. Curve awareness, strength finding and building, practices, and measurement are the logical steps and systematic efforts to manage change or business transformation. Indeed, there should be some tools to implement the change, processes could be set depending on geographic location and taking into consideration the culture environment.

Barriers can be daunting, yet overcome them, and don’t let them cloud your vision. We can create the context for business practices to make improvement. People have an obligation to contribute more, create value for their organization constantly. High performance organization is the company that can quickly and safely assess all of the consequences of a possible change and devise effective plans to provide a combination approach for having both a sense of urgency and overcoming learning curves, to produce better results consistently.
