Business intrapreneurship innovation is a way that a company generates revenues and profits. Can corporate entrepreneurship be seen as a business model innovation? If this is so, you could say that every corporate venture comes with a business model innovation, but not all business model innovation need to become new ventures. 

The essence of a business model is that it defines the manner by which the business enterprise delivers value to customers, entices customers to pay for value, and converts those payments to profit.

The business model initiative is a living breathing thing and can be articulated as a vivid story
: Digital leaders can lead boldly and brilliantly, reimagine the business models of tomorrow if Information Management is managed effectively, and quality information is refined into business insight. To swim in the blue ocean for discovering hidden treasures, looking for business solutions which will directly benefit the external end customer will improve business competency and in-turn bring in increased revenue; and diving deeper to work closely with senior executives for developing new business models and creating the new revenue streams.

Sustainable innovation means products and services need to be improved via continuous conversation and open feedback from customers and partners. The framework for implementing business models and managing the business is to enforce cross-divisional communication and collaboration, deal with the diversity of thoughts, know how to tap their various resources, be inclusive and recognize merit and ideas for coming up with better business solutions and building dynamic orientational competency.

Capability-based business model design and implementation has significant high success rate:
Business model reinvention needs to base on business’s core capabilities, either through providing new value-added service or product to current customers or exploring the new customer need. Business model designers need to leverage design thinking and creativity, ask open-ended questions, methodologically review a list of levers for business model components, and systematically generate the list of potential business model options, and then, make good choices based on their own business core competencies in order to maximize the business value from long term perspective.

The innovative teams are motivated by factors that improve autonomy, mastery and a sense of meaning or purpose; they are able to have the most useful mindsets, behaviors, and skills. IT can thread all critical elements into a set of business competency, clarify related business structures and constraints qualitatively and quantitatively, in order to fine-tune viable business models and create new forms of value deliveries and capturing from its existing forms.

There are competitions, conflicts, and controversies all over the place in today’s complex marketing environment. Continually rejuvenating the business model is a journey to keep the business fresh and build a highly innovative organization. People-centricity is a philosophy, with perception upon design intelligence of business, digital capabilities are the fundamental building blocks with which companies can transform operational processes, customer experiences, and business models to improve a company’s ability to create values by delivering products/services/process, optimizing working methodology, exploring market positioning, to reach high-level business agility and maturity.
