Uncoverlogicofproblemsolving

Behind every problem is a relationship dynamic out of alignment, logic enables us to uncover patterns, understand the interconnectivity underneath the surface.

Due to the “VUCA” reality, problems become hyper-connected and over-complex. The more complex the situation is, the more important it is to apply logic via multidimensional thought processes and cross disciplinary boundaries to see underneath the symptoms and dig into root causes of the problem. Turn around the tough situations, and enjoy the challenges about complex problem-solving.

There is the multitude of cause-effects in complex problem-solving: There is known unknown and unknown unknown. Many problems are complex; some problems seem irrational as they are caused by people’s emotional reaction to a set of circumstances or events. This can appear to be illogical. Some problems are the symptoms; when you try to fix them, the real problems will keep coming back. Often, there are multiple, inter-related dynamics you have to really dig beneath the superficial layer; there is the multitude of cause-effects behind complex problems, it’s important to see around the corner and transcend the interdisciplinary knowledge, to get to the real problem in order to solve it effectively.

Sometimes, there’s the problem that the same word means different things to different people because they have cognitive differences or subjective perceptions to understand what the real problem is. Thinking holistically about the complex problems requires imagination and insight, to identify and explain the interconnectivity of different problems, clarify the multitude of cause-effects in complex problem-solving. The logical problem-solving scenario does conform to a sequence, keeps the goals in mind, clarifies a motivation to explore proposals, a willingness to imaginatively explore alternative solutions.

At the strategic level, identify solution options and which solution option is most aligned with the strategic goals: There are both old problems and emergent issues; short-term pressures and long-term concerns. Problem-framing is about addressing the correct need and perhaps the problem becomes how to identify the need at the right level, develop a good business case, and continue to ask 'Why is that a problem?' at each successive stage. Simulate the problem-solving processes, identify requirements, constraints, robustness, modularity, scalability, costs, and everything else you would need for solution optimization. List solution options and which solution option is most aligned with the strategic goals of the business

There are multiple, inter-related dynamics, you need to be looking for patterns rather than isolating causes. There is no way to create a definitive prioritized list without more business context. Being strategic means thinking about long-term and holistic, have the better opportunities to connect the dots across the geographical, functional, organizational, industrial, or generational boundaries and integrate multidisciplinary methodology for enabling digital leaders and professionals to look at the wider aspects around problem space, and then, understand the effect of imposing boundaries within that space, in order to frame the right problem and solve it in a strategic and structural way.

Decompose and structure multipath-logic:
Business operates in the real world, and the real world is muddy and chaotic. To uncover the logic behind complexity, people need to leverage diverse viewpoints to connect dots for expanding thoughts in multiple directions. As there are multiple starting points from which one can apply logic to understand complexity of problem-solving. Organizations need tools that deal with muddy and chaotic data, decompose and structure multipath-logic in order to solve problems effectively.

It requires that you understand complex problems from a cross-functional process perspective in some detail, Leverage platform-sorts of solutions to decomplex existing large-scale problems or emerging business properties, enhance interdisciplinary understanding, build transparent goal-driven, step-wise problem-solving processes, identify key strategic processes, to make continuous improvement.

Behind every problem is a relationship dynamic out of alignment, logic enables us to uncover patterns, understand the interconnectivity underneath the surface. Effective problem-solving management requires a variety of logic as the hidden clue, the fit process as part of the holistic system to drastically increase the probability of success with premium solutions.
