Innovation

Importance of innovation has increased as the business has the pressure to get more and better ideas and generate multifaceted values in face of fierce competition.

Innovation is expedited to adapt to the increasing speed of changes. A good innovation shouldn’t be just the serendipity; and a bad innovation needs to become a learning lesson. 

The purpose of Innovation Management is to manage innovation as a process. Organizations have to be prepared to lose some to gain more for the longer term. They need to make an objective assessment of innovation appetite, capacity, and manage an innovation portfolio systematically. Innovation is the sustainable and scalable way that can be learned and practiced.

There are earlier commercial involvement in idea management, in an effort to focus on commercially relevant compounds. Clarify measurement and suggest relativity.

You can only manage what you measure. Some factors that could be used to measure innovation score within a company include such as human and financial resources invested, the quality and quantity of ideas entering the “innovation pipeline,” how well it can convert them into desired output, propositions, or process improvement, etc, with measurable business benefit.

Intrapreneurship has been seen as a business model innovation which can improve organizational growth by willing to take risks to create new revenue streams. Business model innovation is a complex system which is greatly influenced by both internal business factors and external circumstances; sustaining cross-boundary engagement for addressing root causes of problems, identifying blind-spots, generating creative solutions, and shifting from risk mitigation to risk intelligence.

Organizations no matter large or small, all face the unprecedented change, uncertainty, and accelerated business dynamic. Intrapreneur-leaders deploy new ideas, new processes, new adventures to innovate constantly: A truly innovative "story of the future" can literally revolutionize collective mindsets and habits, It will change how the process works and how collaboration works and most importantly "how to identify innovation" and deliver it for the success of all.
