Innovativeness

Creative traits of innovators include such as: open-mindedness, cognitive intelligence, learning plasticity, intellectual engagement, pattern discovery, ambiguity tolerance, high adaptability, or risk-taking, etc.

Creativity is a mindset, and it is also intrinsic to all of humanity. Creativity is an innate ability to generate novel ideas. Although society or our social structures have benefited from the byproducts of creativity, it provides little more than a token acknowledgment of the importance of creativity within every person's life and the collective human progress.

Creativity is not always spontaneous, structure, intelligence, integration, are all great elements in climbing up the level of creative maturity.

Idea generation is going from thinking it inside of our head only to visualizing and verbalizing: We get innumerable thoughts every moment, they pass consciously or unconsciously, and sometimes, those thoughts trigger other thoughts to create new ideas or fresh insights. All creative thought processes alternate between divergent and convergent modes as creativity is everything that has been seen, felt, touched, or expressed. All our experiences are completely reconfigured in a way that mixes up all of those things. Knowledge can either boost or limit imagination depending on how you use it. Usually, the fresher information, the richer the creative process if the creative ones can leverage them effectively. Everyone has the ability to create, but creativity is an inherent ability that cannot be taught, only developed.

Curiosity is human nature and it’s stimulating creativity. There is no template that you can apply and suddenly you become creative, it must be done continually, patiently, and individually. What you're creating is a new piece of thought that feels familiar but comes at us in a different unusual way. The whole point of the creative thought process is that there’s multidimensional thinking to trigger imagination, sense and sensitivity through interaction with surroundings. Ideas are a response to the focus of the inquiry and thus must form part of the creative solution. We are at the intersection of the knowledge and creativity economy, artists "adhere to creativity" -indulging in creative acts, and prioritizing creativity as a distinct concept within their lives to greater degrees than "the average population" does. With unprecedented convenience brought by information technology, more and more people practice creativity and shape innovativeness as a mindset.

Brainstorming ideas are about co-creating knowledge, sparking possibilities that happen in conversations of purpose and trust: People have cognitive differences and filter information differently based on their knowledge, experience and interest. Thus, creative people would like to brainstorm with a complementary mindset, stimulating thought provoking ideas, providing insight; giving breadth and depth viewpoints to shape a well-rounded concept. At the organizational scope, people are collaborating, clarifying, building on each other's ideas, discovering nuances and unexpected relationships, and so on, all of which enriches the thinking and contributes to a fabulously rich output. It is the process to develop creative synergy.

It’s critical to be open-minded and embrace fresh ideas and figure out alternative solutions. Creativity-related communication is open-minded and multifaceted without fear of judgment; thinking aloud really helps to test and refine ideas. Talking and actively listening to one another also creates excitement which propels good ideas to be formed. The trick is selecting the right audience; one that will listen appropriately, constructively challenge your thinking, stimulate you to seek better answers, but most of all provoke you to listen to their ideas; allowing for expansive thinking, and value the power of collaboration.

Improving the quality of the connection, and enhancing integration of ideas:
Usually, ideas are built on other ideas; re-connection of thoughts and ideas cross boundaries spark new thoughts both to ourselves and others; reconfiguration of concepts or knowledge to broaden understanding or capture fresh insights. Having a big amount of ideas is a good thing as long as you can try and get the best attributes of the ones you like and integrate them into a solid solution to solve problems alternatively. Idea combination is a powerful technique; idea integration improves innovation management effectiveness.

The idea shaping, shifting, and integrating scenario can improve idea generation, decontaminate conventional thinking, and harness creative interaction. It is the journey of leveraging the diversity of ideas as a rich source of connectivity and relationship, to harness all the spontaneity of interaction the group is capable of and provoke breakthrough thinking to arrive at creative outcomes that would be otherwise very unlikely. The greater the journey, the greater the success.

Innovators are often visionaries and pathfinders who can come with a foresight to envision a need that others overlook or ignore and a willingness to forge ahead to satisfy their vision. The unique traits of innovators include such as: open-mindedness, cognitive intelligence, learning plasticity, intellectual engagement, pattern discovery, ambiguity tolerance, high adaptability, or risk-taking, etc. It’s critical to keep sharpening creativity and climb up the level of creative maturity. It is important to spot innovators based on how they think, their intellectual curiosity, and their ability to connect the dots as well as how they can help their organization generate, share, and integrate fresh ideas, explore new opportunities and achieve the impossible.
