Flower blossom,

lantern shining,

Rain is pouring,

Here comes-

the Lunar New Year celebration;

-to bridge seasonal change;

old & new;

eastern & western;

Spring approaches us gently.


Isn’t this year’s Spring Festival special?

Bring us the hope for-

recovery,

renewal,

and resoluteness…


If whitened Christmas triggers-

our imagination;

Spring Festival urges-

us to change;

and recharges  our energy 

Dragon boating demonstrates-

balance;

lion dance shows -

harmony.

The Year of Ox” is charming.


Isn’t this year’s Lunar New Year different?

Few gathering,

more contemplation….

Spring Festival is not-

just about diversity,

more as unity...


Isn’t festival only a tradition,

or cultural phenomenon;

Is it a symbol for us to-

overcome challenges?

Plum blossom for courage,

Bamboo shoot for growth,

Winter is gone,

Spring is not so far away.

Nature awakes-

our soul,

and soothes -

our heart sweetly…


Sun is rising-

on the horizon;

trees blows in the wind;

We wake up to -

celebrate “the Year of Ox”

for bringing us -

hope, luck and prosperity.
