The strategy is the essence of winning with purpose.

Strategy, in general, is about predicting the future, “keeping the end in mind” and doing things in informed, disciplined, collaborative, and systematic ways. It’s about one logic leading to multipath logic; one idea creating more ideas; one philosophy mixed with diverse philosophies, thoughts wrapped around thoughts toward achieving one fundamental dichotomy: “Why are we here, and where are we going to?”

The goal of a good strategy is to reach the vision and create tomorrow’s vision out of today
: A transformation is a strategy. The strategy is like the business roadmap to leverage the company's resources and achieve its vision. Strategies need to be first and foremost long-term, descriptive, but prescriptive as well. Scenario-Based Strategy starts with imagining possible futures without the constraints of the past, a necessary condition for companies who want to successfully plan for the future in the disruptive environment we are in today.

Strategies should be simple that are understood by all: Strategy is about projecting and balancing variables on the continuum to achieve the goals further away in the distance. A strategy can be defined in the following two statements - where you should improve, and how to succeed where you choose to improve. The strategy defines what we will do, with whom and how we will be successful if objectives are achieved. The strategy is nothing but the answer to the question where the capital and resources should be allocated to get the max leverage for the advancement.

The success of strategy management undoubtedly lies in “timely execution”: Strategy and execution are not as different processes but as an integral part of strategy management. A good strategy is cascading, modifying a plan does not necessarily change the strategy, it could mean that the strategy has to be reimplemented to a certain degree and sustain a clear business vision. There are things you can manage, but there are emerging events or trends you cannot control. The dynamic prioritization all wrapped up in an adaptive plan that turns out to be most critical to the success of strategy management. Thus, strategy is indeed an art as it is a science - as such, the color that gut feelings bring helps you define what the destination can look like.

The strategy is the essence of winning with purpose. With increasing pace of changes, strategy Management cycle is significantly shortened, and strategy-execution is a dynamic continuum. There is a lot to think about, and strategy duration should be catered to each company and its industry.
