Changeability

Changeability gives you confidence because you know you are able to positively adapt to any given situation accepting, embracing, and leading changes.

Change is the new normal, with increasing speed. Change is never for its own sake, it is always for something new and advancing, it means the removal of something old and familiar because change is an evolutionary journey.

Engaging around change is a far deeper, more difficult process: Change without good reason is futile and useless. The very goal of change is to make progression. Many say that people’s intelligence is tested by their changeability, and their quality is proved by their changeability. Change progress is made via positive and growth mindsets and differentiated professional competency. Changeability gives you confidence because you know you are able to positively adapt to any given situation accepting, embracing, and leading changes. Developing changeability takes effort and time, but worth the effort if you can have a more fulfilling life journey.

Empower change agents, recognize change champions: Change the game is a mindset. Many people resist changes because of uncertainty, fear of taking them outside their comfort zone. It’s important to create a compelling reason for the change and understand the psychology behind change. It includes listening and understanding the realities that people face as much as it does to conveying information in order to overcome change inertia. Change Agents or champions are in demand to instill drive, passion, and enthusiasm, expand knowledge, harness skills, build capabilities, and make continuous improvement. A change champion is a progressive problem-solver, an innovator, and a forward-looking mover.

Collective changes create momentum and lead paradigm shifts:
Change is always there; improvement can only be there if people accept change, and make the most out of it. Change cannot be just another thing that needs to be accomplished, it has to be woven into communication, process, and action in a systematic way. Fostering change is always a collaborative endeavor, this dimension of diversity is indeed needed to provide more teeth and speed to the change initiative in the rapidly changing times. It starts from small, focuses on one small process as an example and then leverages from there. This can eventually lead to cultural change and paradigm shift.

Change is inevitable. Life is a journey of change essentially. We see all around us that things are constantly changing. The opposite is-stagnation, inertia, and aimlessness. Don’t let change overwhelm you, but ride the change curve via building unique competency.
