Profound mind can read between the lines, see around the corner, communicate empathetically, and make progressive changes consistently.

Increasing pace of changes, overwhelming growth of information, fierce competitions, frequent disruptions are the new normal. Profound leaders and professionals are open and deep, able to apply multiple thinking processes to expand their perspective of circumstances, and leverage nonlinear logic in dealing with varying situations wisely.

The variety of perspectives opens people’s minds, bridges cognitive, experience, or cultural differences, harnesses the values that each of us can bring to the table, unify the diverse viewpoints to solve problems holistically.

Analyze cause- effect via profound understanding: Understanding has happened to humans, which is a reflection of the intellect that has evolved. People shape the logically constructed mind for they appear as conscious thinking to observe, know the surroundings, things, people that they are interested in. Logic enables us to uncover patterns, understand the interconnectivity underneath the surface, or un-puzzle the myth behind intelligence.

Our thinking perhaps happens subconsciously so we are not aware of things happening. However, we become aware of its consequences and shape conscious thinking to see through things. Being profound is about applying logical reasoning skills, more often nonlinear reasoning to gain an in-depth understanding of a specific cause and effect in a specific context, the root cause of a problem, or the core issues of a situation which leads to resolution smoothly.

Being profound means objective perception, balance, upon striking the right balance without any sort of extreme thinking or unconsciousness: Perception is about our mind interpreting what we are experiencing reality. Thus, it is usually subjective. The downside of subjective perception is that sometimes it causes confusion, miscommunication, and poor decision-making. Being profound means that people learn to open their mind to embrace other people’s perceptions, examine their own perception, make sure they are open to true understanding and capture the objective perceptions for making sound judgments, and frame the right problems to solve effectively.

The opposite of profundity is conventional thinking, superficiality, bias, etc. People misunderstand or mistrust each other because of pre-conceptual assumptions, bipolar thinking, cognitive biases, stereotyping, etc. Thus, profundity is important to connect the mind, unify the difference, striking the right balance - being confident and humble; passionate and cool-headed; hard-working and effortless, self-worth and the worth of others, at the same time, to reach the deep state of consciousness, or being called super-consciousness to achieve the innate fluidity and equilibrium, outer balance and harmonization.

Being profound also means consistency- being consistent in the habit of learning, acting, and problem-solving to build high professionalism
: We live in the era in which all of us leave abundant digital footprints in the internet space. It is the responsibility of each individual to develop themselves fully and build a strong professional brand. Digital leaders and professionals not only keep consistent on themselves, what they think, what they say, or what they act, but they also look for consistency in their teams, in their organization as well as in the ecosystem, as consistency enforces trust, credibility, and harmonizes humanities. From mindset to attitude to behavior, consistency is a critical element for delivering quality results and driving cohesive changes.

Business leaders and professionals are consistent in the habit of learning, de-learning and relearning, to keep themselves informed, so they can make consistent decisions, adapt to the rapidly changing new normal, and solve problems effectively. Furthermore, paraconsistency enhances profundity as being paraconsistent is to strike the right balance of the paradoxical-pairs such as logic and intuition, candor and diplomacy, analytics and intuition to improve professional maturity; Profound leaders and professionals demonstrate the better perception to be a good communicator upon thinking profoundly, upon knowing when to voice out, when to keep silent, etc. So they can make better balance, capture the substance of digital professionalism and trace the root at the heart of business dynamics in order to drive change consistently.

In fact, profundity is one of the crucial traits to differentiate top talent from mediocrity. Profundity is not for its own sake, but to be more persuasive or influential. Profound mind can read between the lines, see around the corner, communicate empathetically, and make progressive changes consistently.
