InitiateglobalinnovationInquiries

The progress of the world is pulled together and pushed forward by visionaries, innovators, change agents, and all quality professionals across the globe, who can apply advanced thinking, in-depth understanding, broad and diverse talents to create the “art of possible.”

We live in a global society with enriched knowledge, diversity of talent, and a sea of difference. People perceive things differently, prioritize differently, evolve changes at different speeds. Thus, progress is not universal truth but relative truth. As your type of progress may not be progress to others. Every endeavor has benefited some but not all humankind, which makes the endeavor relative and not absolute.

In order to build common ground, gain universal understanding of crucial problems and co-solve certain issues we all concern about, it’s important to clarify the vision, set global standards, align resources and people properly, take an interdisciplinary approach to make collective progress we’re all proud of, and advance human society steadfastly.

Can philosophy unify us to a certain degree? Either eastern or western philosophy, philosophy comprises logic, ethics, metaphysics, and epistemology, etc, all of which are perhaps important lenses to understand the world, search for truth, discover the myth.

The depth of philosophy needs to be more about abstracting universal understanding, clarifying objective truth, or unifying the difference. Philosophy is methodical and has deliberate processes for either generating or examining great ideas, making inquiries, uncovering patterns, or setting the guidance for pursuing truths, digging into myths.

Can education train us to make a smooth shift from industry age to knowledge era, then to creative economy?
Education reengineers human mindset, builds disciplines, improves certain skills such as learning and understanding, or doing certain works. Due to abundant knowledge and rapid change, quality education today, hence, should open, not close one’s mind, inspire more minds to learn continually, think independently; identify inner talent of people, explore untapped human potential scientifically.

Education becomes more customized, the quality of education should meet the need for people to encourage authenticity, develop creativity, focus on mind crafting, discipline development, rather than just knowledge instilling, for reaching the high level of knowledge fluency, cognitive understanding, capability differentiation & coherence, and professional maturity.

Can anthropology help us dig through our past, articulate present, and envision humanity comprehensively? We don't live in a human society as a "closed system" but co-share a beautiful planet as a dynamic digital ecosystem which is complex, interrelated, and interconnected, full of opportunities and risks.

Anthropology as a soft science presents every aspect of human life, elucidates the cultural traits, complex human behavioral aspects. It enables us to discover our place in the world as regards global knowledge, world conceptions, styles of life, natural phenomenon, etc. So talented people across the globe can share their compelling stories, lubricate differences, become more inclusive for unifying and harmonizing.

Can research become more insightfully to define the right problems; can resources be aligned more seamlessly to solve problems holistically? As the world becomes more hyperconnected, interdependent, and the industrial boundaries are blurred. We are experiencing a paradigm shift from information scarcity in the industrial age to information exponentiality in the digital era. Interdisciplinary research could be more scientific and sustainable when it takes into account complex system perspectives and the mix of centralization & decentralization.

To understand many complex problems with intrigue pieces, it’s important to develop new research methods, categorize, recategorize, do statistics scientifically and creatively. Our world has limited resources, it's important to take advantage of resources effectively, optimize costs to co-solve problems effectively and efficiently.

Can language harmonize the world, can people correct issues caused by misinformation, misinterpretation, misunderstanding?
Language provides the window to see the world; languages have a huge impact on the way the mind organizes itself to think and express. Language is an art in its own right. There are thousands of languages in the world; there are billions of populations that speak either letter based or symbol like languages. Language creates joy to express our emotions; luggage also causes pains due to misinterpretation or misunderstanding. Language will continue to evolve and change to the needs of the people using it.

Learning multiple languages provides important nourishment for understanding different cultures and societies at a level that is not possible to reach otherwise. Multi-linguists have a better chance to think holistically for bridging differences if they are also fluent in interdisciplinary knowledge context, and truly insightful with their own subject domains, converging the divergent thoughts for generating fresh ideas and innovative problem-solving. Languages unifies us, also divides us. Will we likely end up with a modified universal dialect, or the world of languages becomes more blossomed, enriched?

The black and white boundaries continue to diminish due to the occurrence of increased economic integration among industries, communities, societies. Perhaps we have to abstract the condensed set of principles from a large set of rules philosophically in order to advance and harmonize. We absolutely need to reinvent education to explore untapped potentiality; we should also expand anthropological lenses to improve humanity; resources should be rebalanced, research needs to become more insightful, language needs to become the art of solution, rather than the cause of problems. So we won’t repeat the mistakes and avoid unnecessary pains. The progress of the world is pulled together and pushed forward by visionaries, innovators, change agents, and all quality professionals across the globe, who can apply advanced thinking, in-depth understanding, broad and diverse talents to create the “art of possible.”
