Innerconsistency

Either sticking to one thing and doing it very well; or doing varying things based on coherent versatility, show consistent progress and demonstrate professional maturity.

Consistency means what you think and what you do are coherent. Professional quality is dependent on the consistency of people’s thinking, attitude, and behavior.

Consistency means perhaps you can do a lot of different things in your career or life, but keep consistent of having intellectual curiosity, a growth mindset, a learning attitude; a set of effective decision-making skill, and cohesive capabilities.

Mindset-attitude-behavior consistency conveys authenticity and high professionalism: The information exponential era upon us makes things so transparent, our professional life is converged with our personal life, not only our words, but even our thoughts can be amplified via the speed of the internet. Being authentic means being true to that in every aspect: thinking, saying and doing. From mindset to attitude to behavior, consistency is a critical element for delivering quality and driving cohesive changes. High professionals not only keep consistent on themselves, what they think, what they say, or what they act, but also, they look for consistency in their teams, in their organization as well as in the ecosystem, as consistency enforces balance, unlock growth and harmonizes humanities.

Consistency enforces trust and increases credibility: Credibility and integrity, or better said, "consistency" is essential in earning and holding the trust of each other. In fact, consistency is the key to success in shaping high quality business and leading a meaningful life journey. Troubles and problems happen and it is one of the primary responsibilities of a leader to deal with them - in a professional manner consistently. Leaders that continually act out during pressure or difficult situations lose the respect and confidence of their team. Clarity of direction and trust is lost when leaders do not have the discipline to remain in control as they think illogically or do things inconsistently. Keep in mind, being consistent does not imply stillness. You can be aggressive and passionate while still keeping your credibility and integrity.

Consistency is the great habit to build professional competency and a leadership trait to gain respect:
Consistency doesn’t mean to keep static, digital professionals with consistency are consistent in the habit of learning, acting, and problem-solving to build their professional competency. Being consistent during the good and tough moments is difficult for leaders as they advance in their career, but it directly impacts leadership effectiveness and maturity. If likeability and popularity are based on leadership styles; consistency and trustworthiness reflect the very substances of leadership - making positive influence for advancing humanity. Consistency enhances professionalism and builds trust, based on the simple logic: Unprofessionalism leads to bad judgment and causes long-term stagnation. We all think differently and act accordingly. Respect does not require an arbiter - it requires a different mindset and a different behavior, but in a consistent way.

Change is the only constant, however, the business leaders or professionals with consistency can make better balance, capture the leadership substance and trace the root at the heart of change dynamic. They are consistent in the habit of learning, de-learning and relearning, So they can make better balance, capture the substance of digital professionalism and trace the root at the heart of business change dynamics in order to drive change consistently. Either sticking to one thing and doing it very well; or doing varying things based on coherent versatility, show consistent progress and demonstrate professional maturity.
