It requires understanding and changing organizational culture, then changing governance mechanisms, processes, and technological support of those processes and mechanisms. It also requires that corporate governance complements the management approach by having direct links to key business processes to make sure that management is doing its work properly. Interdisciplinary management is of guiding, influencing, and regulating the decisions and behaviors of the entire workforce, to drive sustainable value-creation to the shareholders in a structural way.

Agility is a must in today's hyper-connected world in which the customer expects everything on-demand and cost-effective. It is the “soft” trait of corporate maturity that enables the organization to either adapt to change timely or create change momentum smoothly. Processes underpin business capability; it is an important issue to understand that the processes in your business will deliver optimal business results. No way you can get that doing anything manually. The level of automation can play a role in selecting the right processes for improvement and building business agility.

In traditional command and control organizations, agility is very hard to grow into fruition because they aren't built on trust, there's often a great tension between the business management and the delivery teams. Agility is the collective business mindset to embrace changes and make improvement. In a frictionless digital workplace, self-driven leaders, teams, and employees have vision to think with the long-term perspective, have passion for catalyzing changes; establish enterprise agility in adapting to change and driving digital transformation frictionlessly in a structural way.
