Change is inevitable, in order to deal with “VUCA” reality, survive from frequent disruptions, fierce competitions, and make a smooth paradigm shift, organizational transformation is the change, but on a grand level, at the level of the business ecosystem. 

It’s important to practice independent thinking to gain unconventional understanding, transform the company's underlying functions, processes, cultures, and identify effective leverage points for leading transformational changes in all directions horizontally and vertically.


Unique insight: Problems today become over-complex, think and act differently to get a different solution which may not be easy to a conventional mind. To gain “unconventional understanding” of issues and spark creativity, put aside all those trained thoughts, logic, systems and boxes, fill in the updated knowledge, comprehensive understanding, always be open-minded to the different points of views, be resourceful and insightful to understand the problems that need to be taken care of. 


Unconventional wisdom can be created in an inner space of calmness with the storming mind of thoughts, emotions, sensations, and imagination. Knowledge based fresh insight also triggers a sense of confidence, confirmation, validation, or verification. Creative problem solvers see the old problems from every direction, they are able to discover the unique path others have never taken before, and find different solutions to thorny problems effectively. 


Uncover contextual logic: To initiate the large scale changes, contextual logic is based on systems analysis which is about understanding interrelationships between parts and the whole; looking more to the patterns, understanding the situations, business context, customers, understanding expectations from varying stakeholders, understanding motivation drivers; with the goal to pull talented people in the right direction, align corporate resources scientifically for bringing up high performance outcome collaboratively.


There are many angles to understand the problems, and perhaps there are multi-logical scenarios to solve them smoothly. To inspire innovative problem-solving, evaluate which alternatives might work better than others. Strong logic, especially nonlinear logic, enables people to infer and defer, preliminarily understand the extent of any problems or conditions, grasp truths, discover facts, meanings, or relationships in order to solve chains of issues and drive transformative changes successfully. 


Unfold corporate future: The digital world is nonlinear, ambiguous, multi-dimensional and hyper-diverse. Corporate strategy bridges the current “as is” state and the “to be” state of the business. Effective management tools such as business architecture contains corporate knowledge, in terms of information, process, capability, and performance, facilitates change planning and communicating of business change initiatives, applying multifaceted perspectives unfolding into a wider multi-dimensionally change continuum.


The challenges that organizations face today include the high velocity of changes, complexity, or uncertainties which could blur our vision and disrupt business operatons. Forethoughtful people need to keep practicing innovative thinking, clarify underlying logic, make sound judgment, solve the right problems in the right way and lead transformative change collaboratively.
