he digital landscape has many dimensions technically, philosophically, psychologically, and sociologically. It is a leadership responsibility to provide a safe environment for everyone at any level to question and speak candidly without anxiety or fear. 

Thus, leadership must be innovative, conscious, passionate, and humble. There are all sorts of leadership flavors, there are different components in developing leadership competency.



Leadership in itself is a constant learning process that requires the leader to build experience and share insight: There is an expectation of all levels of leadership, entry, mid and executive, to critique or at least be aware of how information analysis (S.W.O.T. analyze) affects an organization. There’s knowing unknown, there’s unknowing unknown, great leaders nourish learning by listening, asking questions, and giving or receiving feedback effectively, focusing on true understanding.

Everyone perhaps has some blind spots blocking the way. But as a senior business leader, the blind spots will cloud your vision, trigger your negative emotion. Sound judgment is a hardcore leadership competency and the prerequisite quality of being senior leaders who often set the tone for making good policies, encouraging learning, advancing and improving your leadership competency.

Leadership is about balancing and harmony: Compared to the previous eras with information scarcity and silo setting, leadership has become more informative, influential, and hybrid. To improve leadership effectiveness, it’s about harmony. To achieve harmony, it’s all about balance. To balance, it’s all about overcoming the silo or polarity mentality.

The balanced viewpoint brings an in-depth understanding of opportunity vs. risk, logic vs creativity, analysis vs. synthesis; centralized vs. decentralized control, stability vs. dynamic, etc, engaging with others for solving problems effortlessly. Leadership is a principle, but often you have to break down the outdated rules, processes and practices in order to drive changes and lead forward.

Besides soft quality, the hard core of leadership is knowledge, insight, and wisdom in order to make sound judgments
: Insightful leaders with “discovery eyes” can discover potential, capture substance, and abstract quintessential. There is no generic set of leadership skills, but you can and should build unique leadership competency.

Make the effort at the leadership and portfolio level to qualify and quantify value in terms of both strategic value and tactical value; so you have to keep things rolling. upon the leadership competency. Business leaders need to be the specialized generalists who should develop a broad set of skills, capabilities, and build a comprehensive portfolio of leadership competencies.
