Being difficult to imitate: In order to survive fierce competitions and rapid changes, individuals or organizations need to not only have capability necessities to “keep the lights on,” now; but also build differentiated core competency, which is valuable, rare, and difficult to imitate. Business management needs to identify where the gaps in performance lie.
