Organizations today are like the organic living system which keeps evolving. Just like those plants in the natural world, they seem to be still when we see them frequently, but they grow strong organically. 

Business management needs to improve organizational capacity, to reduce the burden on the company while trying to stay current with an ever-changing ecosystem environment. That includes optimizing costs, streamlining processes and continually developing people and optimizing processes.

Information empowered management can improve the effectiveness of the business initiatives based on predictions and measurement: Information can be refined to enable and fully support the business objectives, generate idea flows; running a real-time organization starts with providing real-time information management solutions to conquer dynamic digital management challenges. It helps to gain an in-depth understanding of the past and the future so far as information permits, it has the ability to view the whole ecosystem with all its dependencies and interconnectivity.

A healthy Information Management cycle makes information available and useful, exerts lots of intelligence, and captures business insights. Linking information management to the multiple business domains within the enterprise and their business partners for decisions, and charting of accounts will create a multifaceted value return from the enterprise transaction data and improve the overall business effectiveness.

Business management should have a process-oriented and people-centric perspective to improve organizational agility: There is never “enough” to optimize business operations. The process oriented perspective enables the business management to make continuous improvement such as system optimization, process streamlining, or cost reduction, etc. They can seize the opportunity to take a fresh look at relevant information, processes; tie all important things together in order to develop actionable plans, hypothesize interventions; identify key leverage points where the non-proportional impact can be made, evaluate their management approach, and take optimized actions.

People need to be intentional about how they enter the role, focusing on understanding and respecting the organizational relationship, culture, and history. People-centric perspective is important to capture customer insight and evaluate people and problems objectively. In the context of people-centric processes where a team of knowledge workers are collectively working on achieving shared goals, dynamic processes will overtake hierarchical control to increase business effectiveness and efficiency.

Both people and processes need to be orchestrated via the efficient information technology to move up from risk mitigation to risk intelligence: Assuming the risk is highly likely to occur, most of today's risk management is reserved for huge and costly endeavors. The efforts on managing risk in a more integrated fashion are critical for the long run. Strategic risk management is knowingly assuming a risk that is worth the effort to predict, analyze, because it is believed that the potential reward outweighs the potential downside. Risk management needs to be integrated into information technology management in a complementary fashion for leading organizations forward by avoiding barriers and pitfalls on the way.

The optimal risk management is multi-dimensions of planning, intelligence, and integration. The risk-management needs to ponder: "What can go wrong? And, what can we do about it?' The secret to risk management effectiveness is the degree to which delegation can be leveraged in "processing" risks. As long as risks have been identified and agreed with stakeholders as per business needs, then you can design the risk models which effectively predict, optimize, and consider a continual and sustainable approach.
