Organizations take a proactive approach to manage change systematically: The future of the organization needs to be solid enough to give some sort of form/meaning and open enough to its environment to allow movement of information, people, ideas smoothly. It takes a lot of effort and resources to make change happen. It takes an interdisciplinary approach to predict and prevent certain critical problems from happening, capturing in-depth understanding of complex problems in order to solve them effectively.
