Although we can't control the outcome of our choices, it’s important to leverage quality information, weigh options appropriately with the right people in order to solve problems innovatively.

The digital era upon us is about options and people. Every situation has options, every situation has known unknown and unknown unknowns, So, the option doesn't mean freedom only, but instead, it is binding on one's ability to decide effectively and deal with problems innovatively. There is a logical scenario behind choices, and it's important to manage them structurally.

It’s always crucial to generate the list of potential options, and then, narrow choices based on the core capabilities to maximize multidimensional business value: We are stronger through appreciating diversity and advocating inclusion. When the options are too close to each other in similarity, the outcome of each option is either unclear or undesirable.

Sometimes, problems are complex, the circumstances leave no visible options. A true problem-solver has the intellectual curiosity to dig into the root cause, understand complexity and guide people through it. Choice with full awareness is the freedom from the conditioned circumstances. It allows us to explore options that one individual or a homogeneous group might not have uncovered.

A clearly designed choice platform helps to eliminate confusion, take customized approaches to each critical problem, and make reasonable adjustments: Problems often do not exist in isolation, but as an interacting and interdependent. For each thorny issue, perceive them from different angles; apply critical thinking to dig into root causes, clarify cause-effect; provide options to solve them innovatively.

A choice platform is an instrument to reimagine how the organization functions, help to orchestrate the business interrelationship between people and process, facilitate the planning and communication of change or problem-solving; it enables you to apply a holistic view to understanding issues, walk through different option scenarios, have a deep understanding of pros & cons of each option, and make “tough choices” in a structural way.

Organizations provide choices for talented employees on how they would like to get the work done, stop micromanagement and increase autonomy: Digital is the age of people and options, it provides the opportunity to think about the new way to do things, engage employees, and delight customers. It’s important to encourage and facilitate empowerment of teamwork to provide the premium “choice, grade, range'' of varying solutions for improving “higher-than-expected” customer satisfaction.

Business management encourages alternative ways to do things and self autonomy. It's important to set the "success criteria"; enabling consideration of the range of options, and clarifying which solution option is most aligned with the strategic goals of problem-solving.
