The purpose of organizational reinvention is to intelligently create business systems optimally to improve business agility, performance, and maturity from functioning to delight. 

High mature organizations are highly conscious about what’s happening in their environment, with the ability to not only adapt to change timely , but also create changing momentum, and unlock their potential continually.

It is important to try to find ways to make people feel involved in the design and implementation of the change: It takes courage, motivation, discipline, and persistence to get out of your comfort zone, drive change forward effectively. You have to bring it back to the fact that resistance to change has root causes in fear driven mentality. It’s important for business leaders and professionals to listen, understand the causes behind changes, be able to think forward, and continue to see the importance of dealing with obstacles by learning how to swim in the information sea, making sound judgment. They are able to refine the existing rules, processes, or practices, eliminate the outdated “hard or soft” elements of the business management, and develop the next practices for defining and implementing changes.

In an unpredictable world, Agile is a mindset with emotional maturity and disciplined flexibility to solve problems and manage complexity: The business needs to be resilient to change because you cannot predict what will happen with high accuracy. The key strategic goal of an Agile organization is the key strategic goal of any organization to increase value-generation, flexibility and resilience. Agile is a set of tactics which are in direct support of the core strategic goal of moving problem ownership to the front line and empowering that front line employees to deal with their set of problems with people centricity.

Up to the next level of business agility should be on improving effectiveness by enforcing business management prioritization, alignment, integration. Agile organizations are specifically organized to tackle complex business problems and advocate self-management, interactive communication, and iterative improvement. People at least are willing to try an agile experiment and then reflect and adapt based on the outcome, and make the journey more adventurous and advance.

Ideally, the two structures - hierarchy and relationship structure wrap around each other to ensure high responsiveness and accountability: Bureaucratization is inevitable because of the ever-increasing speed of changes and expanding interdependence. The goal for optimized organizational design is to improve cross-functional communication, mass collaboration, and changeability. Organizations need to continually fine-tune a successful structure, create a business context where people are empowered and respected; they can collaborate to solve problems and achieve high performance effectively .

To create synergy and unlock performance, businesses need to fine-tune their organizational structure and reach the next level of business maturity. The formal organizational hierarchy and informal business relationship structures wrap around seamlessly to map the flow of workload, enforce mutual respects between organizational structure and process design. So cross boundary collaboration enables people to solve issues holistically and apply nonlinear management approaches to run a high performance business.
